The public is invited to attend an in-person “Merger Mondays” public forum at 6 p.m. Monday, June 14, at Schenevus Central School. This is part of a monthly series of public conversations to discuss the proposed merger between Schenevus and Worcester Central school districts. Prior to the forum, guests are invited for an open house walking tour of Schenevus Central School beginning at 5 p.m.

The forum will feature a panel conversation with each district’s school superintendent, and local elected officials as featured guests. The panel will include state Assembly members Brian Miller and Chris Tague, and Otsego County Rep. Jennifer Mickle. The forum will be an opportunity to discuss the proposed merger prior to the boards’ vote on June 15. Those who attend will have the opportunity to share their questions and comments with the panel.
Because of restrictions on in-person events, attendance will be limited to 100 people. Fifty seats will be held for residents of each community on a first-come, first-served basis. To RSVP for the forum, contact the board clerks of each district:
