The school counselor designs and delivers school counseling programs that improve student outcomes through individual and group counseling, college and career exploration instruction, and assistance in crisis situations. The counselor leads, advocates, and collaborates to promote equity and access for all students, and whose program's focus is based on the vision and mission statements of Schenevus Central School.

School social workers are trained mental health professionals who provide services related to a student's social, emotional, and life adjustment to school and/or society. School social workers are the link between home, school, and community in providing direct as well as indirect services to students, families, and school personnel to promote and support students' academic and social success.

The special education department provides services for students with special needs. Services and accommodations are available to students who meet the eligibility requirements under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Section 504. Special Education also includes related services that are developmental, corrective, and supportive. Some of these services include counseling, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and psychological services.
