Congratulations to Schenevus Central School Valedictorian, Jonathan B. Deitchman. Jonathan is the son of Christy and Jay Deitchman of Maryland, NY. In addition to his impressive academic achievements and awards, Jonathan is involved in the Schenevus music program as an outstanding clarinet player in Concert Band, Jazz Band, NYSSMA, Hartwick Honor Band, All-County and Area-All-State Bands. He is a member of the National Honor Society and has served as treasurer. Outside of school, Jonathan is an Eagle Scout with Eight Palms and has held numerous leadership roles within the Boy Scouts. Jonathan’s future plans include attending Union College in the fall with a major in Computer Science and a minor in Music.
