Schenevus Central School is proud to recognize and congratulate two truly outstanding members of our senior class, our Class of 2025 Valedictorian and Salutatorian.
Samantha Barrett, Valedictorian Class of 2025
Samantha has demonstrated unwavering commitment to academic excellence and school spirit throughout her years here at Schenevus. In the fall, she will be attending SUNY Polytechnic Institute to pursue a career in nursing, a perfect fit for someone who has dedicated herself to helping others.
Sam has been an incredibly active member of our school community. She's participated in Art Club, Drama Club, Music Club, SADD, and Spanish Club. She's also served as Class Vice President in 9th grade and as Class Secretary in grades 10-12.
As a National Honor Society and National Technical Honor Society member, and a participant in New Visions Health Care Program, Sam has excelled both in and out of the classroom.
On the athletic field, Sam has been a true competitor and a four-year Scholar Athlete, playing varsity Soccer, Basketball, Softball, and joining Track and Field in her senior year.
Her dedication to church community service, leadership and love for the school community has made her a role model for all Dragons.

Jason Hoag, Salutatorian Class of 2025
Jason will be heading to Niagara University in the fall for biology. His dedication to his academics, leadership, and service has left a lasting mark on our school community.
Throughout high school, Jason has been a tireless leader and active member of his class, serving as Class President for all four years.
Jason has been involved in countless clubs and activities, including Art Club, Drama Club, Music Club, SADD, Spanish Club and Student Council. He's brought his talents to the Marching Band, Jazz Band and the Yearbook Club and he's shown his competitive spirit on the field as a four-year Track and Field and Varsity Soccer athlete.
As a proud member of the National Honor Society and soon to be an Eagle Scout, Jason represents the very best of what it means to be a Dragon ... hardworking, dependable and always willing to give back.
